Our Impact

Across the United States, 1 in 5 children ages 3–17 lives with a mental, emotional, behavioral, or developmental disorder, yet only a fraction receive the care they need. Behind these numbers are children and families often facing isolation and uncertainty.

At Brady Therapeutic Riding, we witness something different every day: moments of connection, confidence, and quiet breakthrough. For nearly four decades, we have provided physical and social therapy to Bay Area children and youths with physical, emotional and developmental disabilities. We have helped hundreds of children and their families find a new path to healing and freedom.

We have a large community of dedicated volunteers and partner organizations who’ve supported us on this journey. Each year, hundreds of students from local high schools, along with National Charity League and Service Corps programs, contribute thousands of hours of service. Their presence helps create the environment where healing happens, and many leave with a lasting sense of empathy and connection.

Brady has active partnerships with SF CASA and the National Council of Jewish Women, expanding our reach to the children who need our services.

Every rider, volunteer, and partner is part of a shared effort rooted in dignity, patience, and the belief that healing grows when community gathers around a child who needs it most.
