Meet Our Herd

Pete

Born in 2013, Pete is a mustang/morgan cross who was adopted from a rescue. Pete is our “class clown”. Pete is patient and kind for all his therapeutic riding mounts and grounded mindfulness work.

PHOEBE

Born in 2006, Phoebe is a quarter horse who was adopted from a rescue. Phoebe is one of our most reliable horses. Phoebe and Pete are the best of friends.

HONEY

Born in 1993, Honey is a retired polo pony that was donated to Brady in 2008. Honey loved her job of teaching students to ride. Honey is now retired from riding lessons but still lends her services to our ground work programs. She is a quarter horse who loves to be with Magpie. Honey is our Matriarch.

MAGPIE

Born in 2014, Magpie is a quarter horse that was adopted by Brady from a horse rescue facility. Magpie loves her new job at Brady and carries some of our larger riders. Magpie has a very large step that allows for a very comfortable ride. She loves to spend her off time in the turnouts with Honey and Lola, but she is the boss.

LOLA

Born in 2002, Lola is keiger mustang. Lola was donated to Brady by a good friend from Orgeon. Lola is the sweetest and loves food! Lola loves target training, or rather the treats she gets during target training. She is our go to for most small new riders. Lola is solid and steady and loves her job. She loves her turnouts with Magpie and Honey even though she gets bossed around by both of them.

TOBY & TALLULAH

Born in 2014, Toby and Tallulah are shetland ponies (Toby is a dwarf shetland). They were both adopted from a horse rescue. Both ponies appeared to be abused in their past and were not comfortable with human contact when they arrived. After lots of love and training they now are the focus of our REAP program and love the stories and learning activities with the children. Toby thinks he is boss of everyone! Tallulah tolerates him.
